Экономист Нуриэль Рубини (Nouriel Roubini) уже совершает (возможно, несколько преждевременный) круг почета, радостно написав в твиттере, что последние бури на критовалютном рынке подтверждают его критическое отношение к новому классу активов.
«BTC упал почти на 80% по сравнению с пиком (с 20 тыс. до 4 тыс.) и другие криптовалюты потеряли от 80% до 99%, я продолжаю утверждать, что криптопузырь лопнул окончательно. Я оказался прав. Поэтому я несколько дней отдохну от этого ядовитого криптотвиттера. Переубеждать фанатиков – пустая трата времени», – написал Рубини.
Отметим, что Рубини давно демонстрирует редкую последовательность в том, что касается криптовалют. Несколько дней назад он написал: «Я бы мог позлорадствовать из-за падения биткоина на 10 процентов в один день до $5700. Однако до нуля, где биткоину и место, еще осталось немного пройти. Учитывая тот факт, что биткоин является матерью всех токсичных загрязнений и экологических катастроф, его настоящая ценность вовсе отрицательна».

В октябре экономист назвал децентрализацию криптоиндустрии «мифом» и сравнил этот феномен с Северной Кореей.
