Корпорация Tencent выяснила, что злоумышленники смогут похитить токены NEO. Исследователи назвали это «удалённым пиратством». О своём открытии Tencent сообщила разработчикам проекта и операторам нод.
После того, как пользователь запускает одну из них в сети со стандартной конфигурацией, он подвергается риску. Корпорация советует операторам и держателям токенов GAS внимательнее относится к безопасности своих кошельков и своевременно проводить обновление ПО.
О рекомендациях Tencent
Предлагается осуществить следующие действия:
- Обновить клиент NEO-CLI до последней версии.
- По возможности не использовать удалённый вызов процедур (RPC).
- Изменить вручную BindAddress на 127.0.0.1.
- Если RPC активирован по необходимости, то следует изменить номер порта, задействовав JSON-PRC на базе https либо установить файрвол.
На прошедшем 30 ноября в Санкт-Петербурге митапе NEO было объявлено об открытии Центра компетенций (NSPCC). Кроме этого, началась разработка его первого проекта — распределённого хранилища данных.
Распределённая файловая система, которая разрабатывается NSPCC, долгое время рассматривалась как один из базовых элементов платформы NEO.
Пользователи смогут использовать хранилище для децентрализованных приложений в любых условиях (как приватных, так и публичных). Безопасность и анонимность системы будут обеспечены её архитектурой, а также совместимостью с Dropbox и Amazon S3.
