Появилась ифнормация о инвестициях украинского олигарха Игоря Коломойского в грузинскую майнинг-ферму в 2017 году. Данная информация была предоставлена его адвокатами лондонскому суду в рамках разбирательства по иску «ПриватБанка».
По данным от адвокатов, в июне 2017 года Коломойский заключил сделку для инвестирования в майнинг-ферму в Грузии на сумму $50 млн. Компаниями-партнёрами выступили Georgian Manganese LLC и Vartsikhe 2005 LLC.
Согласно устной договоренности, в случае, если на ферме добудут 50 000 ВТС, Коломойский получит меньшую часть. Предполагалось, что стоимость биткоина вырастет с $2500 в июне 2017 года до $20000 к 2021 году.

В плане сотрудничества прописан план по добыче биткоинов стоимостью приблизительно в $1 млрд.
Согласно условий, если в январе 2021 года от деятельности майнинг-фермы партнеры получат менее 50000 ВТС — доступные криптовалюты Коломойский и один из его партнеров разделят в пропорции 90/10. Время получения Коломойским своих монет не согласовали.
Поскольку майнинг-ферма приостановила работу в сентябре 2019 года, то сумма добытого актива — 3533 ВТС.
Юристы Коломойского утверждают, что их клиенту принадлежит не более 1000 ВТС. Ранее мы писали, что в помещениях сталелитейного завода CC Metals & Alloys в штате Кентукки, принадлежащего Коломойскому и его деловым партнерам, появился дата-центр, в котором третья сторона добывает криптовалюты.
