Версия 0.7 представляет собой первый крупный релиз за 8 месяцев. С-lightning обеспечивает более высокий уровень приватности и улучшает производительность. Кроме этого, исправлен ряд багов. Обновление сопровождается расширенной документацией.
Основное отличие новой версии
Она поддерживает плагины. С их помощью разработчики смогут реализовать дополнительные возможности в виде расширений, которые написаны на Python, C и Go. За счет этого c-lightning станет более гибким. Пользователи смогут настроить ПО, исходя из своих потребностей.
Разработчики полагают, что будут созданы новые инструменты. Они позволят отслеживать активность в сети, а также реализовать ряд прочих возможностей для каналов.
