Это обновление – возобновление разработки Dogecoin на фоне ее ценовых рекордов. Ведь предыдущая версия клиента была создана еще в ноябре 2019 года.
Среди улучшений Dogecoin Core 1.14.3 – повышение скорости синхронизации. Из описания известно, что ускорение достигли благодаря удалению затратных проверок на целостность. Ранее они осуществлялись при каждой передаче блока от одной ноды к другой.
«Несмотря на то, что люди считают актив шуточной монетой, мы очень бережно относимся к коду. Интерес к токену вернулся вместе со взлетом цены, и мы хотим сохранить актив в рабочем состоянии», — сообщилглавный разработчик Dogecoin Росс Николл в комментарии CoinDesk.
Среди изменений – хранение кешированных транзакций в мемпуле изменено с 336 часов до 24.
