В планах Revolut использовать созданные специалистами Fireblocks кошелек и сетевую инфраструктуру. Технические решения партнера помогут поддержать «внедрение новых криптосервисов, которые будут доступны 13 млн розничных клиентов по всему миру».
«На данном этапе мы тесно сотрудничаем с командой Fireblocks, с целью изучения всех новых возможности, которые мы можем предложить нашим клиентам в ближайшем будущем», – так описал партнерство с компанией глава криптоподразделения Revolut Эд Купер.
Сейчас финтех-стартап уже предлагает своим клиентам возможность проведения операций с цифровыми активами: bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, XRP и Bitcoin Cash. Но на транзакции с криптовалютами в Revolut наложен ряд ограничений. Например, цифровые активы, согласно правилам компании, не должны покидать пределы инфраструктуры компании. Если говорить проще – клиенты не могут отправлять криптовалюту пользователям других приложений.
Будет лит перелом в этой ситуации благодаря партнерству финтех-стартапа с Fireblocks – неизвестно. Стороны держат в секрете информацию о криптопродуктах, над которыми они планируют начать работу.
