Теперь у пользователей приложение есть возможность приобрести паи Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) и Grayscale Ethereum Trust (ETHE). Согласно информации на 6 мая 2022 года под управлением первого находились активы стоимостью $23,05 млрд, второго — $8,29 млрд.
Продукты GBTC и ETHE предоставляют инвесторам доступ к криптовалюте, исключая необходимость прямой покупки цифровых активов. За управление трастами Grayscale берет с клиентов 2% комиссии.
В течение последнего года паи этих структур торгуются со значительным дисконтом к NAV. На момент написания у GBTC скидка составляет 24,83%, у ETHE — 26,69%.
Сейчас в Grayscale работают над решением этой проблемы, пытаясь преобразовать трасты в биржевые фонды (ETFs). Ранее глава компании Майкл Зонненшайн назвал эту задачу важнейшим приоритетом.
Напомним, в апреле 2022 года в Grayscale Investments заявили, что одобрение фьючерсного биткоин-ETF от Teucrium является основанием для аналогичного решения по собственной заявке компании.
