В четверг криптовалютный стартап Robinhood получил одну из самых спорных и строгих лицензий BitLicense. Глава департамента финансовых услуг (NYDFS) Мария Вулло традиционно заявила, что Нью-Йорк предоставляет все условия для «…процветания сектора финансовых технологий».
По заявлению одного из директоров и основателей Robinhood Влада Тенева, получение BitLicense расширит «…набор инвестиционных услуг для жителей Нью-Йорка, которые получат доступ к платформе компании».
«Департамент NYDFS оказал всемерное содействие в процессе получения BitLicense, и мы надеемся на дальнейшее плодотворное сотрудничество после запуска услуг Robinhood в Нью-Йорке», — заявил Тенев.
Первые услуги по работе с биткоином Robinhood начал предоставлять жителям США в феврале 2018 года. С тех пор компания расширила сферу деятельности на тридцать штатов страны. После получения BitLicense жители Нью-Йорка смогут покупать и продавать через приложение Robinhood без комиссии биткоин, эфириум, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Ethereum Classic и Dogecoin.
Напомним, эксперты JP Morgan прогнозируют дальнейшее падение биткоина вплоть до 1260 долларов.
