Сообщение Вера – это ответ на релиз новой версии клиента Bitcoin ABC 0.22.1, который представили 1 сентября. Благодаря обновлению разработчики добавили в код правило «монетарной базы», которое активируют 15 ноября. После активации этого правила, майнеры будут вынуждены отдавать 8% своей награды в пользу развития Bitcoin Cash.
Вер со сторонниками не поддерживают это нововведение. По мнению Вера, забирать у майнеров часть их заработка для содержания разработчиков – это в «советском стиле».
