По мнению главы комитета Государственной думы по финансовому рынку Анатолия Аксакова, Российская Федерация не легализует применения цифровой валюты Libra, представленной сегодня, 18 июня, компанией Facebook.
В интервью радио «Коммерсантъ FM» парламентарий отметил, что полагает, что использование Libra в качестве средства для осуществления платежей буде в России запрещено.
По его словам, в стране нет намерений принимать законы, которые дали бы «зеленый свет» использованию криптовалютных технологий, созданных с помощью открытых платформ и блокчейн-технологии. По мнению Аксакова, такие законы могли бы представлять опасность для финансовой системы России.
Граждане смогут пользоваться зарубежными платформами
Как считает глава думского комитета, россияне смогут приобретать цифровой актив Libra на платформах, работающих за рубежом, однако в РФ это вряд ли будет возможно.
По словам Аксакова, Россия будет ограничивать или запрещать создание платформ, где могла бы совершаться продажа и обмен таких валют.
