Первая в мире криптовалютная биржа, основанная банком, с сегодняшнего дня начинает полноценную работу после нескольких месяцев задержек. Японский финансовый гигант SBI Holdings официально запустил собственную криптографическую платформу, получившую название VCTRADE, в прошлом месяце.
Однако торговый сервис был доступен только для ограниченного круга инвесторов, прошедших регистрацию на платформе в октябре 2017 года. Сегодня SBI Holdings заявила что сервис теперь полностью открыт для пользователей в возрасте от 20 до 70 лет, проживающих в Японии. Корпоративные клиенты продолжат ожидание.
Подготовительная работа
Ранее, в июне 2018 года, VCTRADE объявила, что первоначально будет поддерживать торговлю японской иены против XRP, токена компании Ripple. Этот логичный шаг свидетельствует о намерениях банков использовать эту криптовалюту при проведении трансграничных платежей.
В течение июня месяца VCTRADE последовательно запускала в работу торговые пары, основанные на японской йене с Bitcoin Cash и биткоином.
Сегодняшний публичный запуск платформы происходит почти два года спустя после первого объявления SBI Holdings в октябре 2016 года о намерении создать криптовалютную биржу. В конце прошлого 2017 года SBI Holdings получила лицензию от японского финансового регулятора — Агентства финансовых услуг (FSA).
Напомним, японский финансовый регулятор FSA рассматривает возможность изменения правовой основы регулирования обмена криптовалют.
