По его словам — это заявление одно из «разорвавшихся бомб-сюпризов» в ходе состоявшихся слушаниях.

Такой ответ последовал на вопрос мировой судьи Сары Нетберн о том, все ли, кто продавал токены, нарушали закон?
«Нет, в соответствии с разделом 4 только Ripple и аффилированные с ней компании могут незаконно продавать XRP», — процитировал ответ Хоган.
С его слов, заявление юриста SEC дает возможность площадкам, приостановившим ранее торговлю активом, возобновить его поддержку.
Среди ключевых моментов этого судебного заседания Хоган назвал высказанное судьей мнение, что в ее понимании XRP — не только денежная единица, но и отличается от биткоина и Ethereum наличием «полезности».
