Известный шведский банк SEB использует xRapid – блокчейн-продукт компании Ripple Foundation – для упрощения трансграничных банковских транзакций между Швецией и США.
О том, что один из наиболее известных скандинавских банков применяет xRapid, рассказала на банковском саммите SIBOS-2018, организованном в Сиднее системой SWIFT, глава отдела транзакций SEB Паула да Силва (Paula da Silva).
«В прошлом году был лишь один клиент. Сейчас все клиенты SEB совершают транзакции между компаниями из Швеции в США и наоборот с помощью платформы Ripple, – сказала да Силва. – Сейчас таким образом переводится несколько миллиардов. Мы пытаемся понять, xто нужно, чтобы эта система работала еще лучше».
Один из руководителей Ripple Foundation Маркус Тричер (Marcus Treacher) написал по этому поводу в твиттере: «Мы гордимся нашей работой с Паулой и ее командой из SEB. Суперрезультаты от замечательного клиента и партнера Ripple».
Ранее стало известно, что SADAD Electronic Payment System B.S.C., ведущий в Бахрейне провайдер платежного сервиса, использует xRapid – продукт компании Ripple для пересылки средств и трансграничных денежных переводов.
