По итогу очередного перерасчета сложности майнинга биткоина, показатель увеличился на 6,03%. На данный момент он достиг отметки в 14,5 трлн хешей (Т).
Начиная с 13 мая 2021 года — это первый прирост сложности, когда цифра достигла максимума на уровне 25,05 Т.
После майского максимума показатель постепенно сокращался: потеряв сначала 16%, а после еще 5,3%. Дальнейшее падение стало рекордным — 27,94%. Вслед за этим сложность снизилась на 4,8%.
Показатель коррелирует с хешрейтом биткоина, который начал падение в мае, после проблем с энергоснабжением майнеров в китайской провинции Сычуань, одном из ведущих мировых центров добычи криптовалюты на тот момент.
Поскольку власти Китая начали гонения против индустрии в стране, вычислительная мощность сети цифрового золота продолжила сокращаться.
На фоне возвращения в сеть оборудования майнеров, которые перенесли бизнес из Поднебесной в другие юрисдикции, в июле хешрейт начал восстанавливаться.
По данным BitinfoCharts, показатель на данный момен составляет 116,45 EH/s. Минимум сервис зафиксировал 28 июня — 68 EH/s.
