Такое решение поддержали и другие разработчики Ethereum, возмущенные действиями сообщества, приведшими к отказу Шоедона от комментариев в социальных сетях.

В сообществе восприняли такое заявление как прямую атаку на эфириум, негативно сказывающуюся на блокчейн платформе. При этом было заявлено о конфликте интересов Шоедона, разрабатывающего Polkadot. В свою очередь Шоедон категорически отрицает обвинения и утверждает, что свое заявление «…сделал только для стимулирования дискуссии».
После этого Шоедон удалил все свои твиты, начиная с июня 2017 года, оставив только последние, размещенные в воскресенье. Директор по связям с разработчиками Ethereum Classic Cooperative Яз Хури заявил, что агрессивное поведение сообщества против Шоедона «…является результатом проявления узкогрупповых интересов».
«Ethereum — это технология с множеством реализаций и видений и в этом сила эфириума», — отметил он.
Напомним, согласно размещенному на Reddit сообщению Афри Шоедона, расчетное время форка Constantinople может быть перенесено с 27 февраля на 25 февраля 2019 года.
