Европейское космическое агентство (ESA) выделило 60 тысяч евро блокчейн-стартапу SpaceChain. Средства планируется использовать для исследования возможности создания спутниковой системы блокчейн-кошельков.
SpaceChain разрабатывает открытую сеть спутников
Она позволит пользователям создавать и запускать децентрализованные приложения в космосе. Предполагается, что данное решение будет отличаться от обычных блокчейн-сетей повышенной надёжностью и безопасностью.
В сети SpaceChain используется механизм трёх подписей. Две из них генерируются на Земле, третья – на её орбите. Для осуществления транзакции необходимы минимум две.
По мнению CEO SpaceChain Зи Чжэна, слабым звеном блокчейн-сети является Интернет. В прошлом году был украден $1 млрд в криптовалюте.
Для передачи данных Чжэн предлагает использовать спутниковый сигнал. Разработчики уже проявляют интерес к преимуществам данного решения.
