Эту группу сформировал менеджер по коммуникациям стартапа TON Labs Фёдор Скуратов. 13 февраля был запущен сайт организации.
Среди ее участников 23 человека, которые представляют отдельные компании – ряд технологических стартапов, сам TON Labs, брокер Da Vinci Capital, кошельки Atomic Wallet и Button Wallet, а также местные сообщества TON China и TON France.
Организация намерена направлять усилия разработчиков, валидаторов, стейкеров и других членов сообщества на популяризацию TON через лоббирование интересов сети, гранты, обучение и прикладные исследования.
Отметим, что TON Community Foundation является самостоятельным образованием, которое никак не связано с описанным в white paper проекта TON Foundation. Последний должен был управлять предложением токенов Gram.
Скорее всего, компания не будет создавать подобные организации, поскольку в настоящий момент она пытается подтвердить децентрализованный статус своей сети и оспорить утверждение SEC о том, что Gram представляют собой ценные бумаги.
