Совместная деятельность с ConsenSys
Первым шагом на пути расширения финансовых инструментов для криптовалютного рынка стало объявление о совместной работе TrueDigital и блокчейн-стартапа ConsenSys. Целью партнерства компаний будет создание целевого контрольного индекса для эфириума. Такой индекс сможет обеспечить привлечение большего числа институциональных инвесторов, заинтересованных в работе на криптовалютном рынке.
Основатель и генеральный директор TrueDigital, Сунил Хирани (Sunil Hirani) в комментариях по поводу совместной деятельности со стартапом ConsenSys отметил:
«Институциональные инвесторы и коммерческие партнеры готовы принять участие в торговле на регулируемом и высоколиквидном рынке. Инвесторы проявляют желание совершать операции с цифровыми валютами и сырьевыми товарами, при этом контролируя риски, хеджируя сделки. Однако на биржах пока не хватает необходимых финансовых инструментов и инфраструктуры, которые институциональные инвесторы используют на других, традиционных рынках».
Индекс для эфириума будет разрабатываться на основании данных от 12 ведущих криптовалютных компаний. Ранее выпущенные производные продукты – фьючерсы на биткоин применяемые на биржах Cboe и CME, формируются на основании данных полученных от криптовалютных бирж.
Форвардные контракты NDF для биткоин
Использование расчетных форвардных контрактов (NDF) в настоящее время очень популярно на рынке Форекс. Компания TrueEX, через дочернюю компанию TrueDigital планирует запустить аналогичные контракты и для биткоина. Контракты NDF будут рассчитываться в фиатных валютах, по аналогии с фьючерсами CME и Cboe. В настоящий момент TrueDigital подала заявку в Комиссию по торговле товарными фьючерсами США (CFTC), для получения разрешения на использование NDF для биткоина.
