Тестирование национальной цифровой валюты (CBDC) в Турции планируют начать во второй половине 2021 года. Такая информация поступила от главы центробанка Наджи Агбал, сообщает Koin Bülteni.
Во время выступления в Комитете по планированию и бюджету Великого национального собрания Турции, он сказал:
«Мы инициировали проект НИОКР по цифровым деньгам. На данный момент завершена концептуальная фаза. Пилотные испытания цифровой валюты планируем начать в 2021 году».
СМИ также напомнили, что в начале сентября 2020 года Главное управление финансовых инноваций Центрального банка Турецкой Республики разместило объявление о найме десяти экспертов для группы НИОКР по цифровым деньгам. В описании к вакансии было указано, что кандидаты могут столкнуться с вопросами в области блокчейна, больших данных, криптологии, контейнерной визуализации, финансовой математики и цифровой обработки сигнала.
