В ночь с 10 на 11 июня было зафиксировано транзакции в размере от 15 до 33 BTC на общую сумму $4 млн. И все бы ничего, если не тот факт, что это те самые деньги, которые были украдены в 2016 году с биржи Bitfinex.
По данным обозревателя Blockchain.com, в общей сложности неизвестным перемещено 416 BTC (~$4,071 млн).
Это уже третий случай о фиксации движения украденных средств. В мае было выведено 28,39124 BTC ($258 000). В начале июня было переведено 77,644901 BTC (почти $800 000).
Согласно данным Cointelegraph, состоянием на 9 июня злоумышленниками переведено 2663 BTC, из которых 736 BTC предположительно оказались на российской даркнет-площадке Hydra. За 2019 год часть средств также могла осесть на биржевых кошельках Huobi, Binance и Bitfinex.
Напомним, что кража криптовалюты с Bitfinex была в августе 2016 года. Тогда злоумышленники вывели 119 756 BTC ($71,8 млн по курсу на момент кражи).
