12 марта Министерство обороны Украины приступило к работе с системой распознавания лиц от компании Clearview AI. Такой информацией поделилось информационное агентство Reuters, сославшись на главу компании Хоана Тон-Тэта (Hoan Ton-That).
Украина получила доступ к системе после вторжения РФ на территории страны.
Алгоритм Clearview AI предоставил возможность идентификации личностей российских военных, борьбы с дезинформацией, идентификации погибших и проверки людей на на контрольно-пропускных пунктах.
Также в Clearview AI сообщили, что России свои услуги компания не предлагала.
По словам основателя Clearview, в базе Clearview AI есть более чем 2 млрд фото из «ВКонтакте». Предположительно, это облегчит идентификацию погибших по сравнению с распознаванием по отпечаткам пальцев.
Нужно отметить, что ПО ClearView AI вошло в десятку самых точных систем распознавания лиц.
