Блокчейн-сеть Tron (TRX)и Tether, выпускающая стейблкоин USDT, сообщили о сотрудничестве с целью запуска USDT в сети Tron к началу 2-го квартала 2019 года.
Грядущий TRC20-токен будет совместим со всеми протоколами на базе Tron и децентрализованными приложениями (DApps), и сделает возможными транзакции и обмен обеспеченных фиатом виртуальных валют в блокчейн-сетях.
Представители Tron, позиционирующегося как соперник Ethereum (ETH), заявили, что USDT «улучшит уже работающую экосистему децентрализованных приложений и повысит ликвидность децентрализованной биржи».
В опубликованном заявлении также говорится, что USDT в сети Tron сделает блокчейн в целом более подходящим для институциональных инвесторов и фирм.
Недавно глава Tron Джастин Сан (Justin Sun) сообщил о хардфорке, произведенном 28 февраля, целью которого стало создание функционала, более подходящего для учреждений и компаний, а также новых возможностей управления аккаунтом.
