Злоумышленники взломали базу данных сервиса CryptoTrader.Tax. Все произошло благодаря получению удаленного доступа к ПК сотрудника компании. Информация о 1082 клиентах теперь находится в сети. Доступны имена, адреса электронной почты, а также платежные данные с информацией о доходах в криптовалюте.
Нужно уточнить, что речь идет об инциденте, случившемся еще 7 апреля 2020 года. Но об этом стало известно лишь после того, как на специализированных сервисах начали торговать информацией.
Хакер смог выгрузить файл из БД на 13 тыс. строк информации. Исполнительный директор сервиса Дэвид Кеммерер уточнил, что пароли пользователей не были скомпрометированы.
Сервис CryptoTrader.Tax предоставляет возможность импортировать свои данные с 36 криптобирж и преобразовывать их в отчет для Налогового управления США.
Кроме личных данных у хакера есть информация о рефералах, доступы к маркетинговым материалам, а также к информации о доходах аффилированных лиц, которые продвигают услуги CryptoTrader.Tax в сети.
На данный момент все пострадавшие пользователи уже получили консультацию для повышения безопасности своих аккаунтов.
