Напомним, еще в мае 2021 года Binance.US объявила о назначении Брукса на должность CEO компании. Но через три месяца специалист покинул пост, среди причин ухода назвав «разные взгляды на стратегическое направление развития».
Среди причин – отсутствие единства во мнениях с основателем платформы Чанпэн Чжао. Якобы Чжао не согласился с идеями Брукса насчет решения регуляторных проблем в США.
Среди предложений Брукса было назначение независимых членов совета директоров Binance.US, привлечение капитала в размере $100 млн для обеспечения финансовой самостоятельности подразделения, а также передачу технологии Binance на серверы, расположенные в Соединенных Штатах.
В сентябре 2021 года Шредера назначили на пост президента Binance.US. Ранее он руководил развитием бизнеса в Ant Group и курировал деятельность компании в Юго-Восточной Азии. А также занимал должность главы отдела стратегии и развития бизнеса Uber в Азиатско-Тихоокеанском регионе.
«Ожидаю дальнейшего роста нашей команды, поскольку мы продолжаем расширять пул наших продуктов и услуг, делая первые шаги на пути к IPO», — заявил Шредер.
Среди прочих кадровых изменений – информация о том, что главный финансовый директор Джошуа Сроге покинет Binance.US.
