Спецоперацию назвали DisrupTor. Для ее реализации были задействованы власти Австрии, Швеции, Нидерландов, Германии, Австралии, Канады и Великобритании. Во время спецоперации были задержаны 179 человек, большинство из которых жители США.
«Золотое время даркнета подходит к концу. Такие спецоперации доказывают, что правоохранительные органы могут противодействовать анонимным даркнет-маркетплейсам», — пишет в отчете Европол.
Многие пользователи сети против таких действий полиции. В них они видят борьбу с анонимностью в сети.
