Янгер уверен, что клиенты начнут переводить свои средства из частных банков на счета CBDC в центральных банках, что станет угрозой стабильности частного банковского сектора.
«В случае поспешного создания национальных цифровых валют они могут лишить коммерческие банки от 20% до 30% финансирования», — утверждает Янгер.
Также у Янгера есть конструктивное предложение о вводе лимита в $2,5 тыс. для хранения национальной цифровой валюты на счетах центральных банков. По его мнению, это удовлетворит потребности большинства домохозяйств и не окажет сильного влияния на финансирование коммерческих банков.
