Криптовалюты (как децентрализованные, так и государственные) в законе не упоминаются.
Документ вступает в силу 1 января следующего года
Разработкой основополагающих политик для применения криптографии займется Центральное агентство по криптографии, которым руководит Коммунистическая партия Китая (КПК). Оно также будет координировать меры по решению проблем национальной безопасности.
Агентство будет поддерживать и поощрять исследования в сфере криптографии, продвигать развитие технологии приватных/публичных ключей и защищать права на интеллектуальную собственность.
Это первый закон, который имеет отношение к управлению ключами и криптографии. Разработка алгоритма хеширования, а также использование технологии вводятся в правовое поле. Во всех «зашифрованных» вариантах придется соблюдать стандарты КПК. Эта сфера очень широка – от передачи блоков до майнинга.
