Местная Комиссия по ценным бумагам и биржам Таиланда запретила торговать мем-криптовалютами, фан-токенами и NFT всем местным биржам.
Среди криптовалют, которые затронут эти ограничения — Dogecoin, и предметы коллекционирования в виде невзаимозаменяемых токенов.
Со слов главы SEC Руенвади Суванмонгкол, ведомство подготовило руководство для криптобирж с описанием признаков запрещенных для торговли цифровых активов.
Главная трактовка касается монет, «не имеющих четких целей или содержания, развивающихся по тенденциям, диктуемым соцсетями». Под запрет подпадают цифровые активы, основанные на интернет-мемах, и нативные токены бирж.
Эти ограничения уже вступили в силу с 11 июня и не имеют обратной силы. В период 30 дней торговые площадки должны пересмотреть свои правила, в противном случае это приведет к принудительному делистингу монет.
Ранее в СМИ появлялись материалы о том, что в начале июня власти Таиланда задумались над регулированием DeFi-сектора. По заявлению SEC, связанная с токенами деятельность может потребовать получения лицензии от финансового регулятора в будущем.
