В текущем году сумма десяти крупнейших сделок по криптовалютным и блокчейн-проектам превысила $1,3 млрд. 9 проектов привлекли средства с помощью традиционных инвестиций в долю капитала. Исключением стал токен DFINITY. Компании Polychain Capital, Andreessen Horowitz и Hashed инвестировали в него $163 млн.

Лидером среди венчурных компаний стала Digital Currency Group, которая в текущем году закрыла 110 сделок. По этому показателю она обошла Pantera Capital и Blockchain Capital (в совокупности – 100 сделок).

Рост популярности данного вида инвестирования авторы объясняют снижением стоимости проектов, а также тем, что цены токенов сейчас далеки от максимума. Среди причин снижения популярности краудфандинга следует назвать проблемы с ICO и регулирование.
