Один из основателей техногиганта Apple Стив Возняк (Steve Wozniak) запускает новый блокчейн-проект. Возняк инвестировал в энергосберегающую компанию EFFORCE и стал ее соучредителем, пишет Malta Independent.
Стив объявил об этом перед началом саммита Delta Summit на Мальте.
Компания будет сосредоточена на повышении уровня энергоэффективности. По словам Возняка, это позволит людям экономить деньги на энергии, в то же время не вредя экологии.
Как считает предприниматель, блокчейн-технология может помочь в снижении количества потребляемой энергии, не заставляя людей менять свои привычки. «EFFORCE – это уникальная бизнес-модель, и мы можем оказать большое влияние на предпринимательство», – добавил он.
Компания выбрала Мальту в качестве своей штаб-квартиры из-за отношения острова к блокчейн-технологии и криптовалютам. За последние годы власти Мальты приняли несколько законов, сделавших страну одной из наиболее дружественных к блокчейну в мире.
