Европейское управление по надзору за рынком ценных бумаг (ESMA) изменил требования к криптовалютным производным финансовым активам. Главный финансовый регулятор ЕС огласил коррекцию лимита кредитного плеча для контрактов на разницу (CFD), связанных с криптовалютами, до 2 к 1. Теперь мелкие инвесторы должны будут заплатить 50% от общей стоимости контракта CFD.
Такое решение регулятор принял после широкого обсуждения со специалистами проблемы рисков для мелких инвесторов, работающих на высоковолатильном криптовалютном рынке. Ранее кредитное плечо по контрактам CFD устанавливалось как 5 к 1. Инвестору надо было заплатить только 20% от стоимости криптовалютного CFD контракта. ESMA обсуждало возможность снижения кредитного плеча до 1 к 1; 2 к 1 или полного запрета CFD контрактов для криптовалютного рынка. Европейское управление заявило, что и дальше будет отслеживать волатильный криптовалютный рынок с точки зрения защиты интересов мелких инвесторов.
