Губернатор провинции Чеджу предложил свой план распространения ICO во время встречи с правительственными чиновниками и законодателями, включая министра финансов Кореи, прошедшей на прошлой неделе.
Вон Хе-Рён планирует сделать остров Чеджу центром развития блокчейн и проектов, ориентированных на инновации. В том числе губернатор предлагает использовать ICO как один из способов финансирования новых компаний.
«Корея должна стала лидером, а не потребителем этой новой мировой технологии», — заявил Вон Хе-Рён.
Одним из этапов плана инновационного чиновника является создание целевой группы из должностных лиц провинции, центрального правительства и экспертов блокчейн индустрии для продвижения новых технологий.
Провинция Чеджу с начала 2000-х является самоуправляемой территорией с высокой степенью автономии в управлении и экономике.
