В «Сводке намерений по ответственному выбору поставщиков» идет речь о планах по «поддержке прав человека в глобальной сети поставщиков, которые участвуют в производстве мобильных и медиа-устройств».
В документе детально описана работа внутри компании и отношения с поставщиками в процессе выбора этичных методов получения комплектующих для популярных продуктов (например, iPhone).
Apple разрабатывает «Руководство по блокчейну»
Работа над документом ведётся в рамках Альянса по ответственной добыче материалов (RBA). В середине декабря прошлого года были опубликованы «добровольные руководящие принципы». Кроме этого, представлена инициатива по определению единого набора принципов, признаков и определений для использования блокчейна в целях поддержания юридической чистоты сырьевых цепей поставок».
Apple сейчас руководит в консультационном совете RBA и участвует в работе ряда рабочих групп, в том числе «команды по блокчейну».
