Организация научных и промышленных исследований Содружества (CSIRO) и Австралийский банк Содружества (CommBank) объявили о завершении тестирования прототипа блокчейн цепи для создания «программируемых денег», сообщает CoinDesk.
В рамках блокчейн проекта, получившего название «Making Money Smart» участвовало 10 членов Национальной системы страхования от несчастных случаев (NDIS) страны. Внедрение новой системы позволит существенно сократить административные расходы и уменьшить оборот документов.
Приложение основано на токенах, закодированных с помощью смарт-контрактов, что позволяет участникам и поставщикам услуг выполнять платежи на основе заранее определенных условий. Платформа позволяет, например, определять сумму денег, доступную для выплат в конкретный срок.
«Мы увидели огромный потенциал системы, позволяющей NDIS выбирать и контролировать службы поддержки выплат, оптимизировать управление бюджетом и устранять необходимость в оформлении документов», — сказала Джулия Хантер, глава CommBank и ADI.
Внедрение платформы поможет сэкономить «сотни миллионов долларов», а клиенты страховых компаний сократят время необходимое на оформление выплат.
