В сети появился скриншот переписки с клиентской службой NatWest. В нем сказано об отказе переводов с дебетовых и кредитных карт на Binance по причине регуляторной неопределенности вокруг биткоин-биржи и возросшего числа случаев мошенничества с криптовалютами.
Напомним, в июне Управление по финансовому надзору Великобритании запретило британскому подразделению Binance осуществлять любую регулируемую деятельность без предварительного письменного одобрения ведомства.
Официальный представитель банка NatWest сообщил в интервью Cointelegraph, что блокировка продлится «в течение нескольких недель».
«На некоторые время мы снижаем лимит переводов на криптовалютные биржи. Аналогично не будем проводить платежи в адрес некоторых из них, где мы наблюдали значительный уровень мошенничества. На поступление средств с этих платформ ограничения не распространяются», — сообщил пресс-секретарь.
В NatWest приняли подобное решение после аналогичных шагов Barclays и Santander.
