Команда Binance сообщила о нововведении, которое обеспечит прозрачность хранения пользовательских средств.
Благодаря функции Proof-of-Reserves, владельцы биткоина смогут проверить, что биржа хранит их средства в полном объеме и все они обеспечены резервами.
Вдобавок пользователи смогут проверить свои активы и транзакции через структуру данных Merkle Tree.
Чтобы воспользоваться функцией на сайте Binance, клиенту необходимо зайти в свой кошелек и выбрать опцию «аудит». Система создаст уникальный идентификатор записи, который подтверждает покрытие активов и их баланс во время аудита.
Функция полноценно заработает в течение нескольких недель.
В дальнейшем возможность ее использования расширят на держателей ETH, USDT, USDC, BUSD и BNB.
В планах Binance привлечение независимого стороннего аудитора для проверки данных Merkle Tree и внедрение инструмента ZK-SNARK для дополнительного подтверждения наличия резервов.
Напомним, в начале ноября Binance раскрыла информацию о своих криптовалютных резервах.
