Руководство южнокорейской криптобиржи Bithumb вновь ищут покупателя. Сделку продажи курирует компания Samjong KPMG. Такую информацию в сети опубликовало издание Herald Corporation со ссылкой на источники.
В 2018 году криптобиржа уже выставлялась на продажу по цене $350 млн. Тогда сделкой заинтересовался сингапурский BK Global Consortium. Но покупка сорвалась.
По оценкам, торговую платформу можно приобрести от $430 млн до $600 млн. По словам источников, предложение заинтересовало иностранных инвесторы и местные фонды прямых инвестиций.
«Реальный покупатель пройдет сложные процедуры из-за текущих проблем Bithumb», — отмечает издание.
18 сентября CEO биржи Ли Чжон Хуна вызвали на допрос по делу о мошенничестве с нативным токеном Bithumb BXA. По версии следствия, он собрал на пресейле около 30 млрд вон (~$25 млн), но так и не включил монету в листинг.
Ранее полиция Сеула провела несколько обысков в офисах Bithumb и изъяла часть акций Bithumb Holdings, принадлежащих директору Bithumb Korea Киму Бен Гену.
