Компания Facebook определилась с кастодиальным партнером для пилотного тестирования своего цифрового кошелька Novi. В партнерстве с крупнейшей американской биткоин-биржей Coinbase пройдут тесты, сказано в блоге.
На период тестирования кастодиальное подразделение Coinbase гарантирует безопасность средств пользователей Novi через свой сервис холодного хранения и управления приватными ключами.
Во время теста, участники смогут приобрести через аккаунт в криптокошельке Pax Dollar (USDP) и использовать стейблкоин для переводов между собой.
Средства пользователей будут храниться трастом Coinbase Custody и подпадут под программу страхования на общую сумму $320 млн, отметили в компании.
«Небольшой пилот» пройдет в двух странах — США и Гватемале, — сообщил глава платежного подразделения Facebook Дэвид Маркус. В процессе пользователи будут «отправлять и получать деньги мгновенно, безопасно и без комиссии».
