Теперь пользователи Elliptic смогут отслеживать «неэкранированные» транзакции по этим монетам для нахождения и предотвращения незаконной деятельности по отмыванию средств через криптовалюты.
«Мы не подвергаем сомнению функции приватности, предлагаемые этими монетами. Также отметим, что учитывая функцию конфиденциальности «по умолчанию» монеты Monero, мы точно ее не будем добавлять в систему», – сказал основатель компании Том Робинсон.
Также добавил, что есть некоторые транзакции, отследить которые невозможно. Например, операции BTC с использованием микшеров или переводы с Monero.
В случае ZEC и ZEN эти функции конфиденциальности – опциональные. Кроме того, их экосистемы основаны на архитектуре Bitcoin, что делает процесс отслеживания проще.
Напомним, что исследователи указали, что монета Zcash может не прожить больше двух лет.
