Аналитики получили скриншоты из корпоративной сети Equinor Energy. Сотрудничество с Crusoe Energy Solutions направлено на сокращение выбросов вредных веществ и сохранение экономической эффективности.
В Equinor Energy рассчитывают сократить ежегодные выбросы на 20 тысяч тонн CO2
Вырабатываемой электроэнергии достаточно для работы майнингового оборудования и систем охлаждения.
Представитель энергетической компании Лайонел Рибейро пояснил, что данное масштабируемое решение уменьшает разрыв между источником производства энергии и его конечным потреблением при одновременном сокращении выбросов углекислого газа.
Аналитики Arcane Research считают, что «цифровое смягчение» факела от сжигания неиспользуемого попутного газа создает обоюдную пользу как для производителей, так и инвесторов. Технология является относительно новой, но получает активное распространение среди производителей сланцевых нефти и газа. Пионером в этой области выступила компания Upstream Data Inc.
