За то, что майнер добавил блок, он получил предусмотренную протоколом награду в 6,25 BTC ($213 840 по курсу на момент написания).
Коливас отметил, что майнер менял количество вычислительных мощностей, с которым работал. На момент нахождения блока он имел только 8,3 TH/s.
В доказательство своих слов администратор прикрепил скриншот сообщения майнера на форуме и фотографию его мини-фермы.
