Павел Дуров написал в Telegram, что команда TON возвращает инвестиции. И уже вкладчикам проекта выплачено $1,2 млрд в соответствии с договорными соглашениями.
Также Дуров отметил, что Telegram не признает и не отрицает свою ответственность перед SEC, но с радостью пошел на шаг мирного урегулирования судебного разбирательства.
Также добавил, что команда Telegram будет создавать и развивать другие проекты, но в случае создания благоприятной нормативной среды в США.
Многие эксперты указывают, что у Telegram не было шансов иначе урегулировать этот вопрос с SEC.
«Telegram принял эту ситуацию, отозвав апелляцию и сообщив о прекращении своей работы над проектом TON. Тогда стало понятно, что стороны пойдут мирным путем урегулирования вопроса», — отметил руководитель практики международных споров в юридической фирме Buzko Legal Евгений Краснов.
А требования SEC об отчете о будущих выпусках криптовалют компанией Telegram, специалист считает правомерными.
«Комиссия по ценным бумагам и биржам США имеет широкое право в назначении санкций нарушителям Закона о ценных бумагах. Аналогичные требования часто можно встретить в подобных соглашениях», — добавил Краснов.
К слову, недавно было опубликовано исследование, на основе которого стало известно, что миллениалы верят биткоину, а не банкам.
