По планам команды, публичный статус они получат в четвертом квартале 2021 года.
Напомним, в мае 2021 года Iris Energy отказалась выйти на фондовой рынок через сделку со SPAC, в рамках которой намеревалась привлечь $300-500 млн. Тогда руководство сфокусировалось на привлечении $200 млн венчурного капитала, собрав к текущему моменту четверть от заявленной суммы.
Для справки. Iris Energy занимается майнингом биткоина с использованием зеленой энергии. Под управление компании центр обработки данных в Канаде мощностью 50 МВт — он питается от возобновляемых источников, в том числе гидроэлектростанции.
В планах компании в 2022 году иметь совокупный хешрейт своих площадок до 4,5 EH/s.
