Компания Canaan Creative подала иск против технологической компании HighSharp по причине нарушение патентных прав. Такую информацию опубликовало издание China Business News, ссылаясь на судебные документы.
Ответчики в этом деле — Shenzhen HighSharp и Sichuan Yinbimei, которые по утверждению истца, «производили и продавали чипы, а также оборудование для майнинга биткоина» предположительно основанные на технологиях, запатентованных Canaan.
Со стороны производителя поступило требование прекратить производство и возместить ущерб в размере 90 млн юаней (~$14 млн). Представитель HighSharp сообщил изданию, что ничего не знает о претензиях.
В апреле 2021 года инвесторы подали коллективный иск против Canaan, обвинив компанию в нарушении законодательства США о ценных бумагах.
