Канадский VersaBank объявил, что проект VersaVault успешно завершил бета-тестирование. Новая услуга банка предназначена для криптовалютных бирж и инвестиционных фондов. Главной целью проекта является создание высокотехнологичного цифрового хранилища для криптовалюты и иных цифровых активов, сообщает CoinDesk. Инициатива по развитию VersaVault исходит от генерального директора банка Дэвида Тейлора, являющегося большим поклонником новых технологий.
По информации директора по связям с инвесторами VersaBank Уэйда МакБейна, в настоящее время уже получено свыше 200 заявок на услуги хранилища VersaVault.
«В то время как многие только рассматривают идеи и планы для цифрового хранилища, мы разработали и создали такую платформу. В настоящее время начинаем внедрять первый в своем роде сервис, который предоставляет нашим клиентам самые современные технологии безопасности и аутентификации, доступные во всем мире. При этом наши клиенты пользуются абсолютной конфиденциальностью», — заявил Дэвид Тейлор.
Продукт был впервые анонсирован зимой 2018 года. Для выполнения поставленной задачи VersaBank принял на работу специалиста в области кибернетического шифрования и безопасности Гурприт Сахоту (Gurpreet Sahota), ранее работавшего в компании BlackBerry.
