В ходе предстоящих испытаний цифрового юаня (DCEP) жители китайского города Сучжоу будут тестировать функцию «tap» на смартфонах, сообщает Nikkei Asia.
Только при помощи прикосновений своими смартфонами более тысячи участников смогут осуществить перевод DCEP друг другу БЕЗ ИНТЕРНЕТА. Это должно напоминать передачу наличных.
Тестирование должно продемонстрировать максимальную простоту взаимодействия с национальной цифровой валютой для китайских граждан, расширив число потенциальных сценариев использования.
Протестировать новые функции смогут пользователи устройств Huawei. Испытание проведут в рамках распределения DCEP среди жителей Сучжоу 12 декабря. Лотерею в виде «красных конвертов» приурочат к сезону распродаж в конце года.
Это уже не первое распределение цифрового юаня. Сучжоу повторит опыт Шэньчжэня, где обладателями валюты стали 50 тысяч резидентов этого города.
Впервые слухи о подобных планах появились в декабре 2019 года. В апреле 2020 года Народный банк Китая подтвердил старт испытаний цифрового юаня (Digital Currency Electronic Payment, DCEP) в четырех городах, включая Сучжоу.
