У клиентов японского финансового конгломерата SBI Group появилась возможность кредитовать токенами блокчейн-компании Ripple на платформе SBI VC Trade. В рамках услуги VC Trade Lending клиенты платформы теперь будут получать проценты от депозитов в XRP на срок до 84 дней.
В июле 2018 года была запущена платформа VC Trade в качестве площадки для обмена криптовалюты. В конце 2020 года платформа добавила услугу VC Trade Lending, позволяющую клиентам вносить цифровые активы на счет и получать проценты за кредитование других клиентов.
В первое время VC Trade Lending поддерживала только депозиты в bitcoin, однако теперь SBI расширяет предложение. Пользователи могут вносить депозиты в XRP, размер которых ограничен диапазоном от 1 тыс. до 100 тыс. токенов. Годовая процентная ставка за пользование депозитом составляет 0,1% с учетом налогов. Максимальный срок депонирования — 84 дня.
На данном этапе компания SBI активно развивает направление блокчейн, посколькуконгломерат владеет тремя платформами для торговли цифровыми активами. В 2020 году он приобрел британскую торговую платформу B2C2 и японскую криптобиржу TaoTao.
Безусловно, Ripple выигрывает от новой услуги SBI в ситуации с иском от Комиссии по ценным бумагам и биржам (SEC). Только за последние сутки токены XRP подорожали практически на 5% и сейчас торгуются на уровне $0,39.
