Litecoin Foundation, команда, ответственная за Litecoin (LTC), объявила, что войдет в листинг криптовалютной биржи Gemini братьев Уинклвосс (Winklevoss).
Как говорится в сообщении, сделанном во время недавнего мероприятия Litecocin Summit, LTC будет доступен для трейдинга на бирже 13 октября.
На данный момент Gemini предлагает пары с долларом США для биткоина, эфириума и Zcash, кроме лицензированных кастодиальных сервисов.
10 сентября стало известно, что Тайлер и Кэмерон Уинклвосс основатели криптовалютной биржи Gemini, получили от нью-йоркского регулятора разрешение на выпуск собственного стейблкоина на базе стандарта ERC-20.
Так называемый Gemini-доллар (GUSD)получил поддержку Нью-Йоркского отделения финансовых услуг (NYDFS). Новая валюта будет обеспечена долларом США, а долларовые депозиты можно будет застраховать в соответствии с нормами Федеральной корпорации страхования депозитов (FDIC).
С 10 сентября пользователи Gemini могут конвертировать свои доллары в GUSD и наоборот.
Братья Уинклвосс развили кипучую деятельность
Кроме того, вскоре после того, как Комиссия по биржам и ценным бумагам отказала братьям Уинклвосс в лицензии на биткоиновый ETF, они, с помощью известных представителей криптоиндустрии, намерены создать новую регуляторную супергруппу.
Группа называется Ассоциация виртуальных товаров (Virtual Commodity Association, VCA) и намерена стать центральным органом для поддержания контактов с SEC по вопросам регуляторной политики. Подобный орган существует и в традиционной индустрии ценных бумаг.
Пока VCA насчитывает четырех членов, все – серьезные персоны на криптовалютных биржах и в брокераже: Bitstamp, bitFlyer USA, Bittrex и компания Уинклвоссов Gemini Trust Company. Встреча группы намечена на конец августа с целью составления руководства для новых членов.
