Согласно заявлению, поданному в Комиссию по ценным бумагам и биржам США (SEC) в среду 15 августа, новый инвестиционный фонд блокчейн компании Pantera Capital получил название Venture Fund III. Размещение средств начато 31 июля и составило 71,44 млн долларов, направленных от 90 инвесторов.
На этом этапе пока неясно, сколько еще инвестиций попытается привлечь компания Pantera. Однако в сообщении TechCrunch указывается, что фирма нацеливается на общую сумму в 175 миллионов долларов.
Предыдущие заявления в SEC показывают, что Pantera Capital собрала 13 миллионов долларов для своего Венчурного фонда II в 2016 году и 25 миллионов долларов для Фонда ICO в 2017 году.
Pantera Capital инвестирует в индустрию торговли криптовалютой в течение пяти лет. Компания является крупнейшим акционером и единственным крупным внешним инвестором в Bitstamp.
