Между блоками 8 300 569 и 8 300 570 произошел сбой сети, которій вызвал отключение и перезапуск примерно 50% нод Cardano. Об этом пишет команда разработчиков из компании Input Output Global (IOG).
Сбой затронул ретрансляторов и производителей блоков. Также разработчики уточнили, что, по-видимому, пограничные ноды не пострадали.
Причиной сбоя стала блуждающая проблема, которая привела к одной из двух реакций: одни узлы отключились от пиров (peer), другие перезагрузились.
Инженеры IOG отметили, что предусмотрели возникновение подобного рода ошибок при проектировании.
«Системы повели себя так, как ожидалось», — добавили они.
Известно, что производство блоков было затронуто “незначительно”, но часть сети не синхронизировалась до перезапуска большинства затронутых нод.
«Воздействие было слабым, похожим на задержки, которые происходят и во время обычных операций, и часто наблюдаются на границе эпох. Большинство узлов восстановилось автоматически, в зависимости от типа развернутого ПО оператора стейкинг-пула», — сказали специалисты IOG.
